We need the City to deliver these services in an effective and efficient manner. Cupertino taxpayers deserve this. Citizens of Cupertino also need to understand that the level of services we desire may not always be affordable. The city budget is very dependent on sales tax revenue, and the local retail economy is troubled. I will work hard to continue to provide community services, and to protect the local economy which generates the tax revenue that makes this all possible.

Crucial projects are on the horizon for Cupertino, including an expanded library and renovated sports center. Keeping these projects on time and on-budget will be a crucial responsibility of the next Council.
