After 10 years of service on the Foothill-DeAnza College Board, I was elected to the Cupertino City Council in November 2001 and re-elected in 2005. I was sworn in as Mayor of Cupertino on December 4, 2007. I am committed to environmental protection, sensible transportation and housing solutions, and well managed government. I've spent the past six years on the Council representing neighborhoods, improving City services, and providing regional leadership on important issues.
